Fireworks Festival 2008

Had bought the tickets to last Sat fireworks festival and was counting down to the day.
The rain really dampened my mood. But when I saw the fireworks, I was happy that I didnt back out and made the effort to see the display.

Batam

Went to Batam over the last weekend for a 2D1N getaway.
Didn't get to swim but went for go-karting and did a spa session.

Don't think I'll go back there again as the ferry journey to there really puts me off (approx 1 hr ferry) and jostling with the crowd to clear the custom is not something I really like as well.

Oh...and things are not really that cheap as all the things in the resorts (I stayed in Holiday Inn) are quoted in SGD

Had created this blog for some time but didnt really know what I should write to kickstart this blog.

Guess I should do some basic introduction to enable to the readers (if there's any) of this blog to know abit about me.

So what's about me?
A simple girl who's like many, working full time.
Got married about 2 years ago and still enjoying the "kidless" life.

Love to travel, especially to beach resorts (so that I can just do nothing but bum around). Other interests include hunting and cooking yummy food, some sports and photography (which i'm still trying hard to learn)


Why am I writing a blog? Seriously, I don't know....maybe it'll be a channel for me to vent my future fustrations or voice out my unhappiness..maybe it'll be a place for me to share my "life" with strangers from the WWW, maybe it'll be a diary for me to safekeep my memories (so that I can have something to rely on to refrsh my memory)....we shall see how it goes as the blog continues to "grow"
